The only photo of JFK and Marilyn goes up for Auction

This is reportedly the only photo ever taken of JFK and Marilyn Monroe together. Taken after she seductively sung happy birthday to him in 1962. It is going up for auction in the US soon and is probably going to fetch about $25, 000. Ummm heard of google images? you can get it for free there or here now come to think of it.

  1. Some trivia:
    - She sang Happy Birthday Mr President on 19 may 1962; she died on 5 August 1962.
    - The dress was sheer, flesh coloured and she had to be sewn into it.
    - It was sold in 1999 by Christy's for over $1m.

"People had a habit of looking at me as if I were some kind of mirror instead of a person. They didn't see me, they saw their own lewd thoughts, then they white-masked themselves by calling me the lewd one." - Marilyn Monroe

  2. Great Marilyn quote

"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell you don't deserve me at my best."
