THOUGHTS: Great cover! Very summer on the mediteranian! (which is where I will be next week)

THOUGHTS: Again... summer on the Mediteranian. Not sure why this UK society mag keeps putting Americans on the cover though.

THOUGHTS: Funky and fresh for them. Usually find instyle a little flat so this is a nice change

THOUGHTS:  Do they ever do bad covers? Simple answer.. NO. I get so excited when I see a new Glamour cover.

THOUGHTS: Is this cover from 1992 or 2010?

WHAT: UK ELLE
THOUGHTS:  I am a major Twilight fan but I don't love her. She leaves me feeling a little cold. This cover does feel very Twilight though.

THOUGHTS: LOVE!!!! Subscriber cover is... ummm.. interesting. something new so they get a gold star for creativity.

THOUGHTS: FAVE MAG EVER! Their covers never fail to capture a trend or a feeling. In this case summer.

THOUGHTS: HOT! Penelope guest-edited the issue, which features three different covers. All girls are wearing Current Elliott jeans and tees from Bono’s (Product) Red collection and - half from Armani for (Red) and half from Gap for (Red)!

THOUGHTS: I'm not a huge fan of her so I don't really care about this. She also posed nude for the inside story. Already done! (see previous post about Kim Kardashian nude in Harper's Bazaar)

THOUGHTS: Love this cover for them. It is their 10th anniversary issue and the border treatment is a nice new treatment. O mag always has fresh ideas. I do think Oprah may have had some work done in the rear end of this pic.

THOUGHTS: Love Teen Vogue. Its so always fool of super cool people and designed really nicely. Not sure who Karlie Kloss is. Should really look that up cause if you are on the cover of Teen Vogue you are someone

V Magazine: Shape issue

Recently V Magazine in the states did a shape issue and… WOW! It was just stunning. I know this has been out for some time but it’s my blog and I’ll post what I want! Having spent 10 years working on women's magazines I have seen first hand how influential they can be to a young woman's confidence and just how important it is for women to see ALL shapes and sizes in the media. I don’t support an unhealthy lifestyle, but I do believe it is ok to be bigger than a size 10 if that is your natural body shape. This is a fantastic example of what should be common in mainstream media (and not needing a special issue to do so)
